Preliminary and Intermediate: and Intermediate II: $250. Training: $175. (Drivers under 21: $150)

Entry Fee Refund Policy

Full entry before closing date less $50. After closing date, entry fee only upon receipt of vet or doctor certificate, less $50.

Stall Fees

$150 per stall for Wed - Sun nights. $30 per stall additional nights. (no arrivals before Tues). Competitors who drive in and do not use permanent stabling: $50 (for duration of the event.)

Stall Deposit

$50 per stall including tack stalls. Stalls must be broom-swept clean. Separate Checks will be destroyed if clean.

Stall Refund Policy

No refund after closing date.

Other Fees

Camping and RV parking with hook-ups: $50 per night. $20 fee per night for camping without hook-ups. Day Parking (for competitors not using stalls) $50 per entry for weekend.
Competitors' Party: $45 featuring beef tenderloin and much more.

To be awarded to the amateur driver in the Preliminary and Intermediate divisions with the lowest combined score of all three competitions. For purposes of this award, an amateur is defined as follows:

A person who has not given paid lessons in the last two years
A person who has not trained horses for others in the last two years for which he/she has been paid
A person who has not driven horses for others in shows and/or competitions for which he/she has been paid
This award can only be won once, i.e. if you have a Preliminary and an Intermediate entry, you can only win with one entry.
$1500 to be awarded to each division. $1000 to the winner and $500 to the runner-up.

Footing, Terrain, and Obstacles

Dressage: Grass Arena, Dressage Warm-up: Grass and sand
Marathon: Slight hills, mostly grass footing
Cones: Grass Arena, Cones Warm-up: Grass and sand

Driver/Groom twice around on marathon?

Twice around limited to 2 times for driver, navigator and carriage. Must be clearly stated on original entry form with all names sharing vehicles or persons driving or navigating twice.

Golf carts will be available from independent vendor. Contact secretary for contact information. Photo copies of current Coggins tests and current membership cards must be submitted with entry before entry is accepted.

Veterinary/Health Requirements

Negative Coggins test within one year of competition. All horses must be properly registered and identified by diagram.

Stabling

Permanent stalls with doors, rubber matting, overhang, electric outlets. Stabling area secured by fences and gates.

Dogs on Site Policy

All dogs must be leashed at all times anywhere on the grounds. $50 fine for each violation.

Food Available on Grounds

Food will be available from Thursday through Sunday afternoon.

Camping On Grounds

Camping with water and electric available at $50 per night. Indicate type of camper on entry form.

Directions to Site

From Raleigh, NC: Route 1 south all the way to Aberdeen, NC. Take Route 211 towards Raeford to Montrose Rd. (Watch for “Carolina Horse Park” sign,) turn right on Montrose Rd and follow straight 2.3 miles to the park. Approximate travel time from Raleigh is 1 hour and 40 minutes.
From Fayetteville, NC, Take Route 401 toward Raeford. From 401 in Raeford take Route 211 toward Aberdeen and Pinehurst, NC. Watch for the Carolina Horse Park sign, then turn left on Montrose Rd and follow straight 2.3 miles to the park. Approximate travel time from Fayetteville is 45 minutes.
