Stable Opens: Competitors enjoy the hospitality of local stable owners who often put their own horses out, so stabling is not available before Saturday noon; Secretary’s Office Opens: 1 pm Saturday; First Inspection: N/A; VSE Combined Test: Saturday 1:30 pm; Mandatory Course Walk and Briefings: 4:30 pm Saturday; Presentation: N/A; Dressage: Sunday, 8:30 am; Cones: Sunday, 9 am Marathon: Sunday 1:30; Awards: Approx. 5 pm. Social Events: Barbeque after briefing, ECTA Café on the grounds.

Driver/Groom twice around allowed on marathon? Groom or vehicle sharing can be scheduled only if in different divisions, and if noted on entry blank. NO LAST MINUTE REQUESTS!
Misc. Show info: Condition for July heat. Bring extra water, bug protection, and enough assistance! This competition benefits the Essex County Trails Association (ECTA), which your entry fees, the officials, volunteers, and organizers all support to maintain and improve the exceptional open riding and driving trails in this area
Awards Offered: Ribbons 1-6 in each class; various humorous and division awards.

Accommodations: Whittier Motel 978-356-5205 is close, but basic; Ipswich Bed and Breakfast, 978-356-2431 Arbor Inn & Motel, 978-356-0220. Google other accommodations in Rowley, Essex. Topsfield or Danvers motels are not close.
Camping On Grounds: Only with stable owner’s permission. Request on entry form.
Camping Off Grounds: No
Directions to Show: I95 or I93 south to 95/128 north. Remain on 128 to exit 20. Take 1A north (to Hamilton). After 7 miles turn left onto Waldingfield Road. Showgrounds are on right after RR bridge. Stabled competitors will be sent individual directions.
