Fees

Entry/Class Fees: $160; Post Entry Fees: $190, Combined Test fee: $90 – Dressage & Cones, Additional Dressage test fee $40; Entry Fee Refund Policy: Less $30 Office fee w/Vet certificate or Doctor letter if received before event closing date of October 15; Less 50% of entry fee w/Vet certificate or Doctor letter if received before Friday, October 24. No refunds after Noon on Friday, October 24, regardless of reason. Stall Fee: $125 – includes 1 bag of shavings. Extra shavings available at $10/bag – Please request number of extra bags required on entry form. Stalls are 10 x 10 portable stalls w/dirt floors. Tack stall fee $100. Tentative Schedule

Stable Opens: Thursday, October 23, 2 pm – No early arrivals on competition grounds Secretary’s Office Opens: Friday Noon, October 24; First Inspection: NA (Article 935.2); Course Walk and Briefings: Friday October 24, 4 pm – Meet in Community Building Presentation: On the Move; Dressage: Sat, October 25, 8 am; Marathon: Sunday, October 26, 9 am; Cones: Sat October 25, 30 minutes following Dressage test Social Events: Fri 6:30 pm – Competitor’s Welcome Soup & Potluck Dinner located in the Community Building; Sat 5:30 pm – Social Hour in Community Building and at 6:30 pm a catered dinner will begin serving followed by the CDE program and awards for Dressage and Cones. Friday evening and all day Saturday a silent auction will run located in Community Building. Silent auction will close at 6:30 pm Saturday. Anyone wishing to donate item(s) (not necessarily horse related) for the silent auction may turn their item(s) into the event office upon arrival. Sun 7:00 am Cowboy Church located in Community Building.

Dressage

Marathon

Terrain: Tree-lined trails, rolling hills, road crossings, bridge and culvert crossings, some gravel, dirt and possible water crossings.

Level: Training; 3 Sections; 9-10 km; 4-5 Obstacles

Level: Preliminary; 3 Sections; 11-13 km; 5-6 Obstacles

Level: Intermediate; 3 Sections; 13-15 km; 6-7 Obstacles

Other: VSE – Will do full course according to level driven above. Please list all ‘equipment/people shared’ on entry form to assist in marathon scheduling. All participants strongly urged to don safety vests.

Cones

Other Information

Veterinary/Health Requirements: Valid Negative Coggins no older than October 27, 2013. Copy MUST be mailed with entry form. All out of state horses/ponies are required to have a valid Veterinary Certificate of Inspection no older than September 23, 2013 upon arrival to event. Papers must be presented to Stable Manager upon arrival PRIOR TO UNLOADING ANIMALS. If Stable Manager is unavailable, check-in personnel will assist.

Driver/Groom twice around allowed on marathon? (Article 943.2) Yes, if scheduling permits. Horse/pony allowed to participate more than once in Dressage only.

Misc. Show info: Dogs MUST be leashed at all times. ALL horse/ponies must be stabled at night or taken offsite. Entry must include a copy of your ADS membership. Approved protective headgear required per ADS Article 928.2.4

Awards Offered: Ribbons to 6th place. Breed awards pending. Anyone wishing to sponsor a breed award or ‘special award’ please contact Maria Di Gregorio.

Food Available on the Grounds: Yes. Concessions will be on grounds for breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday (7 am – 2 pm). Friday, October 24th there will be an OHHA sponsored Soup & Potluck Dinner. Saturday, October 25th there will be a catered dinner, silent auction and CDE program.
